She has the been managing Director of Grand healthcare Uk lTD for over 10years during which she have proved her entrepreneurial skills by acquiring 3 brick and mortar pharmacies in the last decade, managed them effectively by maximizing the business potential of each unit by relevant and ensuring excellent patient care in the community she serves;Eastbourne outlet in 2006,Gillingham outlet in 2008 and Canterbury oulet in 2012.Serving as Managing Director of Grand Healthcare UK, Ltd., Folake Bridget Idowu has also proved her skills in clinical practice by achieving a Diploma in Pharmacy practice at the University Of London(2004) along side a certificate in Business Administration(Durham University).Currently the company has diversified into wholesaling of medicines and appliances and continues to expand. Mrs. Idowu completed her qualifications as an independent prescribing pharmacist at the Medway School of Pharmacy in Chatham and continues to pursue her career in the NHS as a clinical Pharmacist. She undertook her bachelor of pharmacy in the late 1990s at the Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria and converted her degree at the Sunderland School of Pharmacy 2001 IN THE U.K. With a lifelong passion for music, her favorite free time activities include dancing, listening to and composing gospel music.

Folake Idowu Releases Oba Onise Nla, Performs in Osogbo

Folake Bridget Idowu recently joined East Kent NHS Hospital Trust in Canterbury as a clinical pharmacist. A graduate of the Medway School of Pharmacy as an Independent Prescriber she has over 15 years of pharmacy-related experience. Apart from her work, Folake Bridget Idowu is a talented musician and accomplished gospel singer.

Ms. Idowu, who began her basic music training in her youth as leader of her school choir, released her most recent album, Oba Onise Nla, which translates to Wonderful God, in July 2018. In addition to the 10 minute title track, which closes the record, the album contains gospel inspired songs such as Titi Iai and Eni Monuro

In October, the celebrated gospel artist supported her new release by performing live in concert at the Aurora Conference Centre in Osogbo, Nigeria, under the theme “Make His praise glorious.” The event, held in conjunction with Sybuk Communication, included support from Toun Soetan, Yetunde Are, Tolucci, and Woli Agba, among other performers.

RPS to Hold 2019 Science and Research Summit in London

Folake Bridget Idowu serves as a clinical pharmacist for East Kent NHS Hospital Trust in Canterbury, England. Throughout her career, Folake Bridget Idowu has worked to enhance her professional knowledge and skills and is a member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS).

In addition to its educational courses and suite of professional development resources, RPS oversees a variety of events throughout the year. During the first few months of 2019, RPS members will have the opportunity to take part in several conferences and training activities, including the RPS Science and Research Summit.

Focused on the latest developments in pharmacy science, research, and education, the RPS Science and Research Summit will take place on February 8 at the County Hall Riverside Building in London. The Summit will feature prominent speakers that include Professor Dame Sally Davies, the chief medical officer for England, and Sir Andrew Dillon, chief executive of the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence.
